Logline
Weary of sending worker after worker into a warehouse where cursed notes reappear daily, the company hires yet another disposable recruit. Armed only with a wirelessly powered flashlight tethered to an unreliable generator, the recruit must venture into the darkness — where destroying the notes may only provoke the lurking presence.
Game Preview

Win Condition
Player 1: Find and collect 8 cursed notes scattered across the map, then burn them.
Player 2: Maintain the generator by feeding it combustible items. If it powers down, all lights fail and the ghost is unleashed.
- Lights & flashlights are tied to generator power.
- Safe room is only safe while generator runs.
- With power out, the ghost roams freely at higher speed .
Traversal System
Movement is momentum-based, heavily inspired by Mirror’s Edge parkour:
- Wall running: Run along walls to evade or bypass obstacles.
- Sliding: Get under obstacles, accelerate through gaps.
- Vaulting & climbing: Traverse shelves, boxes, machinery.
- Momentum chaining: Faster continuous running & wall interactions build speed .
Items
- Flashlight: Toggle with F. Works only while generator has fuel.
- Burnable Items: Feed generator or burn collected notes.
- Notes: Collectibles; must be burned to progress.
- Medkit: Revives a downed player, but consumes the one-item slot .
Monster – Ghost AI
- Head Start Timer: Ghost stays inactive briefly at round start.
- Roaming Mode: Patrols slowly until a player is detected.
- Chase Mode: Accelerates on sight; faster per burned note; extreme speed if generator is off.
- Abilities: Door slams, phasing through walls, can’t enter generator room if powered.
- Player Proximity Effects: Chromatic aberration, screen darkening, heartbeat sounds .
Environment
The warehouse map is designed to amplify tension:
- Narrow hallways, cluttered shelves, machinery obstacles.
- Small rooms with randomized item spawns each game.
- Generator Room: A temporary safe zone lit only while powered .
Sound Design
- Ambient: Creepy environmental drones.
- Movement: Footsteps vary by surface, sliding/vaulting sounds.
- Monster Aggro: Audio cue when ghost detects player.
- Spatial: Echo and reverb in hallways.
- Generator & Fire: Hum, crackle, ominous shutdowns.
- Flashlight: Clicks on toggle.
- Player Fear: Breathing, heartbeat intensify when hunted .
